Positive Mind. Positive Vibes. Positive Life.

Here's to another fresh week with fresh hopes & one step closer to our goals.

After a long pause, I decided to break the silence by writing this piece for all you kind readers out there.

I know that in this very instance, there might be millions of people going through probably the worst phase of their life. Just a reminder that it's not the end but rather a new beginning.

So here's why I'm going to talk about key elements to remain optimistic during the worst times of your life for the universe always reciprocates the vibes we put out there.

I have discussed many times how our attitude has an impact towards every situation. But how many of your'll were aware that it has the complete power to change the circumstance?!

As Lord Buddha once said, "Your mind is a powerful tool. What you think, you become."

Now this is what we need to keep in mind. Don't ever let the the negativity overpower the positivity for what you give power to has power over you.

So let me tell you the ultimate rules for remaining positive at all time.

BELIEVE ; BELIEVE THAT EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON.

The minute you start to believe in the above, you will have more faith & trust in the future. You may be the most generous person in the world, but that's not going to stop bad things happening to you. But to dwell on those bad things and grieve or to believe that there's a reason behind it and let it pass is your mind's desire.
If you know that there' s two sides to every story, then know that there's a hidden message behind whatever you're facing. Sometimes bad things happen to good people to prevent them from worse things.

BELIEVE ; BELIEVE IN KARMA

Now I personally am a very strong believer of this. It has proven itself in strange ways & it never misses anyone. So if you know that you had the best of intentions at all times, then lay back & watch karma play it's role. People get served exactly what they deserve for karma is the universal law of cause & effect.

PRAY ; PRAY FOR THINGS TO GET BETTER

To pray is to handover your worries to any force that you believe. It can be god according to your religion, it can be a creator or it can be the universe itself. By praying & handing over your worries, you create an immense amount of faith that the listener will answer your prayers. This can be true or this can be a myth. But by having that amount of faith you're going to look forward to good things & this means you unknowingly put out positive vibes to the universe. When you believe in good things, good things start to happen to you.

LET GO ; LET GO OF ANYTHING THAT WEIGHS YOU DOWN

This is the tricky part. A friend of mine once told me that you become like the 5 people you closely hang out with. Most of our life is spent differentiating people and yet it can sometimes be hard to choose the right people. Sometime we don't even have a choice when it comes to letting people in. It's as if it was on default and we don't even know until the damage is done. But this is also the most important step to positivity. Always have a say in whom you choose to let in to your life. It may be friends, relatives or a romantic interest. This could defer from person to person as to what to look into others but in general, vibe with the people who lifts you up, motivates you, inspires you & who does not have ulterior motives. Let go of anyone & anything who tries to discourage you, demotivate you & let you down.

REMEMBER ; REMEMBER THAT IT'S YOUR VIBE THAT ATTRACTS YOUR TRIBE

Letting go of the bad can be hard. What's harder is attracting the good. You can't expect good things to happen to you if you're forever hung up on the bad. Temporary solutions, temporary people, temporary situations are only going to fix you temporarily. To make the good last long you first need to be it, for you attract what you are.

. . .  Just in 5 steps, you can experience a surprising turn of events. It's never too late to start. We cannot go back and start a new beginning but we can always start today and create a new ending. An ending that satisfies you. An ending that inspires others. An ending that leaves an immortal message. All it takes is your mind. Train your mind to remember that the universe finds it's balance through the good and bad. But just like the good times, the bad doesn't last forever either. Train your mind to believe that things always get worse before they get better & how you react to it is what makes or breaks you. Train your mind to have faith that the amount of good you've done always over weighs the amount of bad others have done to you & it's going to pay off in full. Lastly, train your mind to extract the positive from every situation and let the negative rid of itself. Bad things do happen to good people, all the time. It's only to make you strong as an individual or to teach you a lesson you would have never learnt any other way.

. . . But Remember,

- What you put out to the universe always gravitates back towards you -

Be ruthless in your actions; be kind in your tone

Actions tell us why words don't mean a thing. So here's me writing why it's so important to communicate your messages through actions whilst maintaining the calm in your tone. It took me years to realize that people being ruthless in their tone is a result of them being angry at themselves. I have personally said some pretty nasty things to people who's actions tremendously affected me only to find out that I was only angry because I cared so deeply about them & that their slightest actions had such a big impact on me. This often ends up making us look immature & someone with a lot of negative energy. Sounding angry almost never covers our sole purpose of being angry, which is to convey our feelings to another person. I have often noticed that people barely pay attention when you're angry although the purpose was to grab their attention in the first place. This is why it's important to "DO" & "NOT SAY". Think of it like

You're Not For Everyone!

Hello lovely readers!! Been a while since I wrote anything. Well, I'm starting to see a pattern in my opening lines actually because . . . I've come to the realization that I do not write as often as I would like to. But 'ey, QUALITY over QUANTITY aye?! Yes, quality. Definitely!! When it comes to basically everything in life from food to clothes to cosmetics we often look for quality. Ironically, when it comes to the most important aspect we tend to completely overlook this. RELATIONSHIPS and the people we associate ourselves with.   We will befriend just about anyone in this day and age. Is it due to common courtesy, need for attention, out of loneliness, inability to set boundaries or the lack of self-worth on our part?! Well, I am still looking for the answer too. But here's the thing, it's not the answer that matters but the question itself. How many relationships, romantic or platonic, do we need in our lives?! Its a matter or quality over quantity. Why is it s

The version of me you created in your head is not my responsibility

In my thirty years of existence the amount of times I’ve battled the feeling of “never being good enough” is countless and honestly, quite sad if you ask me. As I’ve said before, I was raised in a household where openness and conservativeness were parallel. There are things that were ok to do and things that weren’t. It’s surprising that actually how some of the basic things were taboo and some things Asian parents considered taboo, I was allowed to do. Not gonna go into detail but I guess what I’m trying to say is, maybe growing up I was kinda lost in translation. I was constantly told to consider the society as part of my lifestyle before making major life decisions because somehow, for some reason their perceptions mattered. I was taught to be very cautious about my appearance because well, looks matter. I wasn’t allowed to leave my house without a pair of earrings, I wouldn’t be caught dead in flip-flops, never worn unfitting or non-matching clothes even in my teens, hair n
